During the decades, the housewife has been the common role for most women as the man is suppose to bring home the money as she slaves away in the kitchen and takes care of the children. Nowadays, this role has been altered with the upcoming of my single parent homes where women work to support the house hold.
This poster was made during wartime's when women did male roles in working as the men went to go to war. Many women work in steel mill factories and also construction to support the males in the army, only proving the fact that a women can do a mans job.
